Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe, a singer-songwriter of country music hailing from the United States. Following the release of two singles and an album called Satisfied in 2007 she formed a band named Pistol Annies with Angaleena Presley as well as Miranda Lambert and released her second album, titled Like a Rose in 2013. Ashley Monroe singing with Blake Shelton in the year 2015. The singer-songwriter released The Blade, an album that brought her fame. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for more than 15 years. She was the majority of that time as the city's deputy manager in Iowa City. As Assistant Village Manager her current duties include managing the Community Development and Building Department and the completion of tasks. In Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of the village's services, while also taking on the strategic plan of elected officials and the entire community. Ashley has held a variety of roles during her career, which included the planning of municipal services and communication for government collective bargaining for the budgeting of personnel in addition to working on climate change-related initiatives. Ashley's engagement with national organisations and work within communities with various populations has provided her with an understanding of how groups with all sizes operate. Ashley's lectures focus on current approaches to management and leadership within public institutions from a seasoned professional. Ashley's emphasis on adapting to changing circumstances and challenges, navigating community and intergovernmental relations and making ethical decisions will provide a framework for aspiring professional and current employees in public institutions.
